 Given Covid19 Guidance Measures the church building has to close, so we've had to change our plans:
        The focus will now be some online activities and resources to help us refresh, pray, worship and reflect.
   Is peace just the absence of conflict ?   What does it mean to be filled with peace ?   Can peace exist with fear ?
    How can i know God's peace in troubled times ?   Do i have to make peace with those who've done me wrong ?    
                                                                                  ALL WELCOME !

   We had a great half-term with 2 trips (Thames River Cruise & Zippo's Circus - thanks to Variety's
   'Big Day Out' partner program) and our first big residential '48 Hours' !

    SEPTEMBER 2019:   

  Back to youth club after an amazing summer:  Back to our friends; back to the arts table, the games 
  room
, cooking together, eating planning and discussing together.. Great to have some new faces here! 
  Oh yes.. and then there's also the new pottery wheel.. :)

    get creative: artists at work   pasta evening: we cook and eat different foods together each week   games corner: developing skills and friendship                1 v 1: games are a great resource for mentoring     turning clay: new pottery wheel

                                     round the table: sharing food, discussion, suggestions, and ideas..

            Here we are  helping to plan our '48 Hours' Residential trip for October half- term!
            A great mix of fun, challenging & team-building activities, with some workshops :)

   'Games on the Green' is back on every Weds 3.30 - 5pm through to Weds 16th October, 
   when we will be hosting a community BBQ for all young people involved and their famili                         FREE AFTER SCHOOL CLUB EVERY WEDS this after-school drop in using the green space off The Ridgeway has been running from early summer: offering football, softball tennis, badminton, volleyball, and basketball games so far.The outside
           GotG is a FREE drop-in after-school with lots of sports & active game opportunities.
          From Weds 30th October we'll be moving indoors, but..  what do we call it then ??!!

         BIG SUMMER ACTIVE !

   

  Thanks to Josie's Jack Petchey Achievement Award, 15 young people were able to go to London Zoo
  for a lovely day out interacting with and learning about wildlife.  We invited them to submit photo
  entries of animals they saw in our competition :

  Thanks for all your photo entries!  Out of all those we received, we felt these 5 captured something special
  about the characteristic setting, atmosphere, and poise of the animals.  And now to announce the WINNER..:

   This was a tough decision as all the photos were of a high quality.. but judges were all agreed "the
   'stroke the goat' photo was crystal clear and captured a special moment, as well as great contrasts
   eg. skin & fur,  eye & head.. We like the composition too: the angle of the head, the human surround.."
