JULY / AUGUST 2019
Thanks to Josie's Jack Petchey Achievement Award, 15 young people were able to go to London Zoo
for a lovely day out interacting with and learning about wildlife. We invited them to submit photo
entries of animals they saw in our competition :
Thanks for all your photo entries! Out of all those we received, we felt these 5 captured something special
about the characteristic setting, atmosphere, and poise of the animals. And now to announce the WINNER..:
THE WINNING PHOTO ENTRY FROM OUR LONDON ZOO TRIP [03/08] IS..
This was a tough decision as all the photos were of a high quality.. but judges were all agreed "the
'stroke the goat' photo was crystal clear and captured a special moment, as well as great contrasts
eg. skin & fur, eye & head.. We like the composition too: the angle of the head, the human surround.."
SO OUR PRIZE AND CONGRATULATIONS THIS TIME GO TO: CHLOE YOUNG
Well done Chloe! Keep up the great photography!
