Eileen is a trustee/project officer for MACS (Malawi Association for Christian Support) www.malawimacs.org – this is a charity that works alongside people in Malawi by responding to a wide range of requests: education, healthcare and training from some of the poorest rural communities. As a result we have built strong links with communities in Malawi and have completed 3 working trips to Malawi and hosted visitors from Malawi in our parish. This included Bishop James Tengatenga of Malawi (see below photo with Vicar Joan), who addressed the main 9:30 sunday service.
