75th Anniversary

 2012 is the 75th anniversary of the consecration of St Alban's Church.  To mark this we will be holding some special events in particular on the weekend of 12-14 October the : Jewels of Metroland Festival.

Central to our celebration will be flowers, with many local churches and organisations being invited to display.  We also hope to have exhibitions of art and crafts, architecture and of course the Metropolitan railway.

Our main fundraising event for the Festival will be on
Saturday 12th May from 3pm-6pm and will be a traditional afternoon tea with professional musical entertainment. Tickets at £12 will be on sale shortly. PLEASE come along to what promises to be a very
enjoyable afternoon.

There is an opportunity to sponsor a floral display at the
Festival to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or perhaps the life of a loved-one. You may like to choose an arrangement by a Church Group that you may be, or have been, involved with and has a special meaning for you. Donations of £25 or more will be acknowledged in the Festival brochure.
